Northern Nomads
CAARGO
Seattle ambient pop newcomers CAARGO create atmospheric and tropical tunes that combine bouyant hooks with hazier textures. For songwriter/producer Gabe Martinez, dance music is the perfect way to wrestle through the personal tensions of dreams and despair, doubt and discovery.

On the debut self-tiled EP, CAARGO sets chorused, impressionistic guitars onto a frame of firm dance beats and tight percussion. Standouts "Traveler" and "Mala" clearly articulate CAARGO's commitment to injecting nostalgia and cautious optimism into every moment of music.

CAARGO is resolved in its danceability, but never comfortable settling for motion devoid of reflection.
Eastern Souvenirs
Eastern Souvenirs is the recording project of Seattle-based songwriter and producer Brian Fisher. It began in early 2014 as a bedroom recording project utilizing Nepalese, Indian and Sri Lankan percussion instruments sent back as gifts from Fisher's in-laws overseas. There is a distant world-folk influence in the arpeggiating classical guitar interludes that's hard to put your finger on geographically and an immersive backdrop of analog synthesizers and mangled samples.
